A poem for my daughter who turns 6 today!
(I am in the poem mode I guess)
My sweet little princess,
so precious and small.
Ten tiny fingers,
ten tiny toes.
You came into the world on a cold Winter day,
greeted warmly with love.
A cute little smile and then a giggle,
Heaven's kissed blessing.
"She's dainty"---sensitive and sweet.
Growing so tall,
but still snuggles close to me.
Singing and dancing with happiness and joy.
Playing dolls--all sorts and sizes.
Off to Kindergarten with new independence,
yet holding tightly to mom's hand and heart.
New friends and learning,
reading with such ease and expression.
A smart and quick learner you are.
Six years old today!
Six great years.
God has given the best gift,
on this Birthday remembrance...
YOU!!!
I love you, mom!
