Poem

How fast the summer days turn to the next.
Care free, bare feet,
Summer heat.
Days to play with friends.
Days you wish would never end.
Watermelon, picnics, hot dogs,
s'mores,
Ice cream cones galore.
Swimming, biking, baseball, tag.
Vacations,
Time with family.
Fishing on the peaceful lake.

Why do these summer days have to end?
Stores full of school supplies.
Teachers, letters, open houses.
Time to transfer-- home to school.

Time for change...
New seasons, new classes, new friends.
God does not change.
He is faithful to the end.

I don't like change. For me it is always hard to send my two precious gifts off to school. God assured me this week that he is constant and he will watch over Darin and Ashley where ever they go.
