We heard great things about "Big Thunder Gold Mine" in Keystone.. so we decided to check it out and go..200 plus feet below the earth. We learned of the perils of mining for gold.. back in the 1800's. It was years of work for little gold, in some cases. We even felt what it was like when the lights went out!!!
Then we tried our hand at panning for Gold! We all found some tiny,glimmering specks to bottle up and bring home.
