On April 18, 2013.. 232 5th graders from 3 main elementary schools on the SW side of Sioux Falls gathered together to practice and prepare for a Festival Concert. This was the largest combined band in Sioux Falls. The band directors loved that! The musicians played 5 challenging songs. They pulled each piece and instrument together to make music! Darin did a great job playing bells, the wooden block and the snare drum, along with his 12 other percussionists! It was our Anniversary gift! It also opened our experience to the school... Memorial Middle School... where Darin will attend next year. It is fun to see friends from church, work and other areas... all gathered together.

I enjoyed the video clip that Ashley sent us. Wow...this makes Darin seem so old..attending concerts.
