We had many new memories and "firsts" this Christmas. There was definitely joy mixed with sadness. We miss dad, grandpa. We welcomed baby Leeland on December 18th. We have not had a boy in the family for 12 plus years. That is so very special. We also celebrated a first birthday for Anne Marie, my niece. And, we spent time at a fun hotel in Sioux Falls. We enjoyed the new things together as a family, but we missed the smile, voice, laugh, words and playing of grandpa and dad.
