Getting older doesn't have to mean getting crankier. My book from Dr. David Jeremiah (I know I keep mentioning it) talks about how we look to the older generation of adults to prove that life is worth living no matter what age you are. That God is faithful until the end. And, there is joy in the journey.
As you age, you can't do as much. You may complain about pain and seem mad at the world. This doesn't leave a good taste in the mouth.
My grandma graciously grew old. She remained positive and perservered until the end. She modeled an authentic faithful journey with the Lord.
She inspires me to be more loving, more giving...more faithful!
I know you are basking in the heavenly love surrounding you now Grandma!
