On March 4th, I went with my daughter's Kindergarten class to see Wizard of Oz. It was performed by the theater department at Roosevelt High School. It was very well done. The kids enjoyed the sights and sounds of the story coming to life before their eyes. For two hours they kept their focus on the performers. The class was fortunate to have a connection with the Scarecrow, so we were able to behind the scenes and meet the Tinman, Lion and Scarecrow. We also saw Glinda and Toto.
My son was brave and went with his class to the morning performance. He enjoyed his first musical.
