We had a great Memorial Day weekend filled with fun places and things to do! First we traveled to Fairmont, MN to visit my family. We fished, played games and ate our first meal of our favorite fish--Crappies!
Then on Memorial Day, we biked over 5 miles on part of the bike trails, we had a picnic, Darin helped dad mow(his first time, and I was scared!), we ate Dairy Queen treats, grilled steaks for supper and ended the evening with s'mores on the campfire.
We remembered grandma Rupp. She loved Dairy Queen treats! I wore her "L" necklace to keep her close to my heart.
I am thankful to all the men and women who serve our country and keep us safe!
