We started our celebration with "Green Eggs and Ham". The kids planted something green. The creatures will sprout grass and basil hair in a couple weeks. They can even style it. I also like to buy an assortment of green food. I even found green tinted buns for our sloppy joes. Num!
We also include the real reason behind the day... Saint Patrick. He suffered under slavery, only to go back and preach the gospel message. He converted many Irish to Christ.. and started many churches.
We have a great book that focuses on the Biblical meaning of the holidays.
