Parents ask Why?

Ever Wonder Why….
Your children play quietly until you pick up the phone.
You can never leave the house without snack or drink.
Kissing your spouse has kid magnetic power.
Your child doesn’t have to use the bathroom until he steps foot into a store.
Crumbs on the kitchen floor magically reappear right after you sweep.
We have to threaten to get what we want.
Kids are excited to open a bill.
Kids can listen to the same song over and over again.
Your house can’t stay clean for the rest of your life.
If you sit, your kids will come.
Children could snack and drink all day.
Whining is a natural instinct.
What the other has is always better.
There can’t be smudge proof windows.
A child’s nose can project such snot!
Your child’s food tastes better in dip.
The loudest battery operated toys do not have an off switch.
I am sure there are many more as well.

I agree about the whining being a natural instinct! Reminds me of the book by Francine Rivers - The Priest. That's when Aaron & Moses were dealing with the complaints on a large scale. I think it's helped me gain some perspective on working through those negative attitudes, but it's definitely easy to act upon.
