Life 96.5 helped with the Tree of Love Program this year. They provide gifts to nursing home residents that do not normally receive them. So, our family took an ornament for a gentleman, with 4 gift wishes. We shopped, wrapped and brought them to the Center for Active Generations open house last Saturday. We also get to help deliver the gifts this Monday. It really shows the kids about the joy of giving.
By the way I was impressed with the Center for Active Generations... It is for 18 yr olds and above. They have rooms for crafts, games, pool, ping pong...etc. You can even have a gym membership, at little cost, with a weight area and stationary exercise machines.
