We took a day trip 65 miles south and west to Yankton. We went to the Lewis and Clark Recreational Area. A beautiful setting with the bluffs and Missouri River. We had a picnic and then went swimming. We were amazed at the depth and width of the lake, created by Gavins Point Dam. We had not been there before, but plan to return.
