For the third time our family has been asked to sing for our church Singspiration. This is a time to sing favorite Hymns and Sunday School songs. Our family is one of the few non-white hairs there. But, that is fine with me.
My husband and I work together to find the songs. This time we sang "Love Lifted Me" and "Oh How He Loves You and Me." The kids sang "If You're Happy and You Know It" as well. It went so well.
Ashley really gets into it. She loves practicing with the mic. and performing. Ashley got the giggles during "If Your Happy..." and Jeff said, "I guess she was happy. Good thing Darin was singing loud.
It is such a blessing to pass the hymns down to our children. It is also a blessing to use our voices to blend together and praise God.
Don't forget to sing the Hymns and share them with your children. The words are so rich in doctrine.. We can't afford to lose them.
