Ashley and her class learned all about bugs at the Outdoor Campus. During the "Bugology" class they learned how the bugs eat, how they move, what they look like... their senses.
They examined a cricket in a magnified cube.
They did stations where they simulated bugs eating... with straws, clothes pins and sponges. They even practiced moving like bugs...
I love our Sioux Falls Outdoor Campus. They are so organized, hands-on and full of knowledge about nature and the creatures within.
