Darin's 3rd grade class at JFK participated in the traditional "Wax Museum". Over several weeks, they researched a famous deceased person. He chose George Washington. He located information on the Washington's beginning, middle and ending years. Darin also researched what he was known for. He put a poster together as well. We located a costume, thanks to my sister. Darin memorized his speech, what Washington was known for. Then, the museum opens..for students and parents to see. We had to push a button to hear the stories. The costumes were very impressive.. Elvis, Michael Jackson, Helen Keller, Wild Bill Hickock... Princess Dianna...among many others. Very impressive.
Darin did a great job. He was interviewed for the Sioux Falls school channel..
